Tribhuvan University provides degree recognition and equivalency services for educational certificates obtained from other national and foreign universities and educational institutions via online medium.

Students require a TU Equivalent Certificate for a variety of purposes in Nepal, including applying for a (No Objection Letter) NOC Letter, pursuing higher education at Tribhuvan University, being eligible for government and public sector job applications in Nepal (some private companies may also require this document), and applying to foreign universities for study abroad. Abroad universities must be listed in Tribhuvan University's equivalency database. 

Tribhuvan University's Curriculum Development Center (CDC) is in charge of all degree equivalence activities.The Tribhuvan University's Curriculum Development Center (CDC) has set up a website where service seekers can apply online and pay for certificate equivalency services.

HOW to Get the equivalency certificate from TU ?
1. Visit Official website ot TU Curriculum Development Center website [LINK HERE], click on Register for Equivalence, and enter your email address and mobile number.
2. Fill out all of the information in the form, such as your personal information and the university from which you graduated, and upload all required documents in pdf format. For equivalency, your university from abroad must be listed in Tribhuvan University. 
3. You can pay the application fee through a variety of payment services, including esewa and khalti.
4. Once your application has been verified and approved, you can go to the CDC and get your equivalency certificate. It takes three working days (excluding holidays) to find out the status of your application.

In the case of unregistered universities or subjects in the system
If your university or subject is not on the list, you must register by clicking on Add New University and Add New Subject during the online registration process and fill out the form. The applicant who wishes to register for a course or university must additonal fee. The applicant is notified in the system and must submit all copies of the documents required by TU CDC within 1 to 3 working days.
