The Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi, has published the schedule for the School Leaving Certificate examinations.

The SLC Board meeting led by Education Ministry Secretary Narayan Gopal Malego on Thursday fixed the dates for the exams. They will be held for nine days starting March 20 next year.

The exams which started on March 14 this year have been delayed by a week due to Holi, one of the greatest Hindu festivals. Around 600,000 students are expected to take their SLC texts.

As per the schedule, the students will take their Compulsory English exam on the first day, followed by Compulsory Nepali on March 21.

Compulsory Mathematics: 2070 Chaitra 9, Sunday
Compulsory Science: 2070 Chaitra 10, Monday

Compulsory Health Education and Environment: 2070 Chaitra 12, Wednesday
Optional Paper First: 2070 Chaitra 13, Thursday
Optional Paper Second: 2070 Chaitra 14, Friday
