Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Grade 11 Scholarships Notice 2083(2026)
 Kathmandu Metropolitan City's Education Department, Municipal Office, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, has issued a scholarship notice for students who wish to study in Institutional Schools (Private Schools) under the scholarship quota in Grade 11 for the academic year 2083/84.

The placement will take place in institutional schools throughout the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Scholarships will be awarded based on the results of an entrance examination. Students are requested to enroll only after the scholarship results are published.

Scholarship Examination Date: 2083 Jestha 17, 8 am to 10 AM.

Subjects: Science, Management, Humanities, Education and Law

Application Fee: Free

Scholarship Examination Structure:
There will be 100 multiple-choice questions based on the subjects and areas covered in the examination based on the Secondary Level Class 10 curriculum.  It will consist of 30 questions from Compulsory Mathematics and Compulsory Science & Technology, 20 from Social Studies, 10/10 from Nepali and English subjects. The medium of questions paper will be both Nepali and English. To pass the scholarship examination, a minimum of 40% marks must be obtained. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Examination will be conducted via OMR Sheet. There will not be Negative Marking for wrong answers.

Examination Duration: The total duration of the exam will be two hours.  Applicants won't be able to apply to more than one program.
