Position: Business Development Coordinator -Maternity Cover

The Role
To raise funds and to maintain contracts with donors for Oxfam’s programme in Nepal to enable delivery of the country strategy; to develop and maintain good quality and consistent relationships with donors; to effectively support programme teams to develop and submit concept papers and proposals in accordance with country strategy and donor requirements; to maintain contract management systems for new business development.
This position works with the Head of Portfolio Development to expand Oxfam’s portfolio in emergencies and development.
Poverty& Hunger
Support the Head of Portfolio Development in expanding Oxfam’s portfolio in emergencies and development. To effectively support programme teams to develop and submit concept papers and proposals in accordance to Oxfam Country Strategy (OCS) and call requirements. Provide technical oversight and expertise on bid management for Oxfam in Nepal. Update country pipelines, and CRIMSON and Box files for new opportunities.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who has the following experience, knowledge and competencies
Education: Bachelor’s degree in development studies, International Development, Sustainable Development, or a related field.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in fundraising, proposal development, or grant management, with proven success in securing institutional funding.
- Good knowledge of institutional donors, funding mechanisms, and donor compliance requirements.
- Understanding of programme cycle management in development and humanitarian contexts.
- Experience in log frame development, project budgeting, and basic data analysis.
- Strong capacity-building, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, administrative, numerical, and communication abilities, with the capacity to work under tight deadlines.
