Job Description:
Resource Development and Program Quality (RDPQ) Director is accountable for four major streams of work:
1) Lead the acquisitions team for all non-sponsorship funding streams, including but not limited to: grants from bilateral, multi-national, foundations, private and major donors; project-non-sponsorship, local corporate social investment (CSI), and other emerging impact investments including service contracts with development banks; in order to increase and diversify the resources of World Vision International Nepal to support country strategy goals to address the needs of the most vulnerable children and communities in Nepal;
2) Lead efforts to ensure all World Vision International Nepal’s Projects meet relevant donors’, government, and World Vision International’s technical quality and compliance requirements (including sponsorship and non-sponsorship funding); and
3) Streamlining World Vision International Nepal’s design, monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning systems contributing to innovative and improved evidence for quality improvement, policy influence, international funding acquisitions and country strategy implementation plan (CSIP)
4) Oversight of the Nepal Innovation Lab, ensuring it is bringing new thinking and innovation into Nepal and the wider region’s programs, in addition to ensuring it is adequately funded in order to operate effectively.
